Since 1999, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Newburgh has been building safe, affordable homes for local families. This HV Gives day on May 21st, your support will directly fund the foundation for our first home in the Town of Newburgh at Gail Place. This is the start of something truly special, and we need your help to raise the funds that will lay the groundwork for future families.
We have set an ambitious goal for this year's Hudson Valley Gives, and we need your help to achieve it! Thanks to supporters like you, Habitat Newburgh has been bringing people together to build homes, community, and hope for 25 years. But we still have more work to do.
Right now, we have 15 families in our program and we have 6 homes in planning and construction! Our dedicated team is working tirelessly to make sure affordable, decent housing is a viable choice for local families.
Our Goal: $16,000 for the Foundation of Gail Place
This is the first crucial step in creating a safe and affordable home for a local family. Your support will directly help us lay the foundation that will allow us to build homes and transform lives in the Town of Newburgh! Every donation helps us bring this dream to life, and your support will directly impact the future of affordable housing.

Dollar-for-dollar matching (up to $5,000) thanks to the generosity of Safelite Auto Glass.
- Online donations will be matched, up to $10, by Resorts World Catskills starting at 10:00 AM EST on May 21st, 2025, until a total of $5,000 is exhausted.
- Online donations will also be matched, up to $25, during the lunch hour starting at 12:00 PM EST until $2,500 is reached, thanks to Walden Savings Bank.
